Bulk Update of Rates for Reservations
To modify the nightly room rate of non-group reservations in bulk, users must select the preferred reservations and click the More ➜ Update Room Rate option in the Batch Edit tab of the Batch Operations screen. When selected, the Update Room Rate pop-up screen appears that displays the following fields:

Room Rate |
The rate to be applied to the selected reservations. Users can enter a value that is a maximum of 16 digits. |

Override Reason |
This is a single-select drop-down list that displays the rate override reasons configured at the property. This field is mandatory when the Rate Override Reasons feature setting is enabled. |

Comments |
This is an input field that allows users to enter comments for the update. Users can enter a maximum of 500 characters. This field is mandatory when the Rate Override Reasons feature setting is turned off. |

Category |
This is a mandatory field that is displayed when the entered rate is below the comp threshold. This is a single-select drop-down list that displays the comp categories configured at the property that do not require a certificate. |
When users click Save, the following message is displayed as a banner in the Batch Operations screen: Bulk update of room rate is in progress. Click here for the status. When the Click here hyperlink is clicked, the Batch Update Process pop-up screen appears that displays a progress indicator that indicates the count of reservations processed.
Once all the selected reservations are processed, the following message is displayed as a banner: Bulk update of room rate is completed. Click here for details. X success, Y failed. Here, X denotes the number of reservations for which the rate was updated successfully, and Y denotes the number of reservations for which the rate update was not successful.
When users click the Click here hyperlink, the Results pop-up screen is displayed. The Room Rate tab displayed in this screen displays the details of the reservations for which the rate update was successful and reservations for which the rate update failed.
Users can perform a retry of the rate update using the Retry option. Retry can be performed only for reservations for which the rate update failed due to disruption in the network. The Retry button is disabled by default. The button is enabled only when users select reservations from the Failed section.
